      <image:title>Performances - Make Me One With Everything</image:title>
<image:caption>Street vendors are some of NYC's most entrepreneurial residents, and in 2007 I conducted a series of interviews with vendors from The Street Vendor Project to learn about their work. Using audio from these interviews as source material, composer Paul Damian Hogan created an original score, and I wrote a series of essays about issues facing vendors in the city, including limited permits, police hostility, and fewer initiatives for small businesses as big box stores move in. I stood on Wall Street with a musical cart, passing out these essays and audio recordings, generating dialogue with business people, bankers, NYPD, tourists and more. Make Me One With Everything was made possible with support from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Princess Grace Foundation-USA and The Street Vendor Project. Design by Yvonne Jukes.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Performances - Beyond Bullets</image:title>
<image:caption>From 2008 - 2012, I was the Project Director of Beyond Bullets, DCTV's anti-gun violence media campaign. I traveled across the country, meeting with city leaders, activists, and both victims and perpetrators of violent crime. My collaborators at DCTV and I oversaw the production of more than 50 youth-produced videos about the effects of gun violence on communities nationwide. We created a website dedicated to this issue, and hosted citywide media tours to high schools, middle schools and community centers throughout NYC.</image:caption>
